Similar to the neighbouring soil of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, it consists on pebbles which store heat in the daytime and restore it to the vinestocks in the night-time. Red-clay subsoil.

VINIFICATION/AGING
Traditional vinification in stainless-steel tanks • An average three weeks batting time • Aging of 12 months in concrete tanks and 600 liters barrels
CHARACTER
This Côtes du Rhône Villages is characterised by very strong aromas of red fruits and liquorice. It combines the freshness of the Côtes du Rhône and the structure of a Chateauneuf-Du-Pape.
Potential of aging: 8 to 10 years.
ACCOMPANIMENT
Fruity and full-bolied, this wine goes well with grilled and roasted meat flavoured with thyme and rosemary. Il will enhance its aromas of Provençal herbs.
